🐍 Our lady MEDUSA Talisman 🐍- “Flee, for if your eyes are petrified in amazement, she will turn you to stone. with bared teeth, a mane of writhing serpents”. Since the first time I heard the Myth of Medusa I was transfixed with her story. The raw energy, the power & the tragedy - a story of a woman wronged by a patriarchal society (sound familiar?). In a mans world Medusa is the villain, in my world she is a powerful symbol of animalistic femme power. Inspired here by Alphonse Mucha paintings, she is my muse, soft lines with snake tendrils winding around her.
