Pink labradorite is a rare chromatic variation of the traditional Labradorite stone. Typically, Labradorite is known for a phenomenon called the "Schiller effect," where light scatters off internal structures to produce iridescent flashes of peacock blue, gold, and green. In very rare instances, the internal lamellae structure refracts light in such a way that it produces flashes of pink, purple, or sunset orange.
